Presso Espresso, 2023

This is the first print series from my Introduction to Print Making studio. This print was a single layer linoleum block print, utilizing jet black ink and cream toned Stonehenge Printmaking paper. Named after the physical process coffee grounds undergo to make espresso, being pressed upon by 9 bars of pressure infusing the water with the flavor of the grounds. The design incorporates some imagery most near and dear to me when I think about all things espresso; a Moka Pot, Steamed Milk Pitcher, and Latte Mug. Together these three items help bring me an unlimited amounts of joyous experiences. Allowing me to create and enjoy a freshly hand made cup of coffee.
