Ryan Breaux, 2022

This series was an assignment in which I spent time working to pursue an artistic interest of mine. Since seeing the typeface in the work above, I knew I wanted to replicate it in my artwork. It comes from musical artist Frank Ocean’s unreleased album art, a singer who is very influential to me and hundreds worldwide. I wanted to pay tribute and take my pass at creating art inspired by Frank Ocean, as I feel it is only fitting to give back to the artist for blessing our ears continually in the only way I know how.
